In April 2025 the Episcopal Church of South Sudan (ECSS) celebrated 100 years since the Cathedral in Yambio was built. (British missionaries introduced the Christian faith into South Sudan).
In early February I visited Cueibet in South Sudan as a representative of the Chalke-Cueibet Partnership (CCP), Chalke Deanery’s charity for the link which was formed with the Diocese of Cueibet in 2013. It is part of a long standing association between the Diocese of Salisbury and the Episcopal Church of South Sudan.
As Jesus said in John 4:14, "whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life."
